The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has announced the recruitment 2024-25 for- candidates who will clear the written examination– PET [Physical Efficiency Test] and Physical Measurement Test [PMT] that is scheduled on- 13 November 2025 to 6 December 2025. This Recruitment includes 4660 posts for the RPF Constable position. Eligibility Criteria:
The Candidates who are want to apply for these- 4660 posts for the RPF constable position released by the Railway Protection Force need to meet all the eligibility criteria to give the exam- Go through all the points to check your eligibility and proceed further:
- Educational Qualification: The Candidate must have passed the 10th class from any recognized board or institution in India.
- Age Limit: The candidate must be- 20 to 28 years of age and it includes relaxation of age for other categories.
- Physical- Standards: This is the most important part of the PET- PMT. The requirements for the Exam are given below:
- Height: For Male candidates from General- EWS and OBC categories the minimum height is 165 cm– while for SC- ST candidates it is 160 cm. For woman- from General- EWS and OBC the height should be 157 cm and for SC- ST females- the height should be 152 cm.
- Chest- Only for Male Candidates: For General- EWS and OBC candidates:- the chest should be 80 cm unexpanded and 85 cm wide. For SC- ST candidates- it should be 76.2 cm unexpanded and 81.2 cm wide.
Physical Efficiency Test- PET:
The Physical Efficiency Test is all about strength of the Candidate. It is a test in which every candidate need to pass to get selected for the exam and Candidates need to practice for months in order to get qualified in this PET test.
- For Candidates who are male:
- Candidates must be able to run 1600 meters (1.6 km) in 5 minutes and 45 seconds along with 14 feet minimum jump and 4 feet high jump.
- For Candidates who are females:
- Candidates must be able to run 800 meters in 3 minutes and 40 seconds along with 9 feet minimum jump and 3 feet high jump.
How to Download Admit Card 2025:
The RPF Constable Physical PET- PMT Hall Ticket 2025 will be released- on the official RPF website. Candidates can download their admit cards before four days of your exam in November 2025. Follow these- easy steps to have a successful download process without any problem:
Step 1:- Visit the Official Railway Protection Force website at rpf.indianrailways.gov.in.

Step 3:- Enter your basic details like- Application Registration Number or Roll Number and Date of Birth.
Step 4:- Submit all the details and generate your admit card successfully.

Q2:- Are there any particular instructions for the dress code of this PET-PMT exam?
Ans2:- According to Official notification you should wear a proper sports outfit. For the running and jumping tests- comfortable track pants or shorts and a t shirt with sports shoes are important.
